Dell, one of the world’s technology giants, has backed up the hybrid power adapters it put on the grounds that it threatens health. In cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, brand officials have decided to recover their hybrid power adapters in case of electric shock, which could also threaten their lives.
Dell’s marketed power adapters are designed to charge the device while power adapters that can be doubled as a desk charger. Adapters that are also supported by latches on the module sides for conversion can also be used separately from the power bank to charge the devices.
Can be easily broken and separated
Dell authorities noticed a very serious error in the product after the product was launched. The team that tested the hybrid power adapter easily removed from the case was found to have metal components that would create a risk of electric shock to the module. No injuries were reported, but it was found that the adapter broke the internal components and revealed them.

The company has demanded around 8,900 units in the United States and about 475 units in Canada. Between February 2017 – August 2018, the products were sold online at Dell, Amazon, Microcenter and other retailers.
Customers with hybrid power adapters included in the retention sequence are advised to contact Dell to immediately discontinue use and find out how they can provide a free placement.
